What is a Junior Counselor?

A Junior Counselor is a teenager (ages 14-17) that volunteers for a session of our Summer Day Camp program for children ages 4-13.

Junior Counselors assist one of our Senior Counselors in his/her group, helping with the daily activities.

Junior Counselors are expected to serve for a complete session (Monday - Friday).

On opening day, arrive at 8:30 for a time of training. For all other days, you are expected to serve from 9:00 - 4:30.

How to become a Junior Counselor:

You must fill out an application. Applications are taken in first-come-first-served order. You are signed up as a Junior Counselor based on your application and references. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter.

If you served in 2008 as a Junior Counselor, you will receive an application for 2009 in October. If you are a new Junior Counselor, applications will be available online beginning January 5, 2009.
