P.E. Program

Pre-K – 8th Grade

Beachmont PE is a once a week program that is designed to expose students who are educated at home to a variety of skills through activities, sports, and fitness exercises. This 10-week program is designed so that students will participate in 6-8 units. Some units will last for two weeks so that students have more time to learn the skill, sport, or exercise. The units and lessons are created for the appropriate grade level. Therefore, younger students are learning motor, throwing, catching, and kicking skills through modified games, while older students are learning basic skills, rules, and strategies of a sport or the proper technique of a fitness exercise. In addition to these skills, students learn cooperation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our goal is to provide a fun program in a Christian environment where students can grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

This program is designed for high school students who would like receive volunteer hours by serving as an assistant to the teacher.
